We had dinner at a new Indian restaurant in Muizenberg called Enigma. Although the location is not exactly the nicest part of Muizenberg, the actual venue is very nice. It looks like the owners have put in a lot of effort to make the place look good. The service, and prices were pretty good too.
However, the menu doesn't have a lot of options (more than Gaylords around the corner), and the food is rather "average". I'd certainly have lunch there every now and then, or get takeaways. But I wouldn't put it high on my list of Indian restaurants. It really is very unfortunate, because we were really hopeing for a good Indian restaurant close to home...

Average? I don't think so! The selection is not huge but the food is exceptionally tasty and amazing value for money. Dish for dish I would rate the food as good as Bukhara, and a fraction of the price. R32 for a main course? Long may they last.
I agree that their prices are very good, and I hope they do last for-ever. You can never have enough Indian / curry restaurants, in my opinion.
I would also agree that, if you are comparing their food to Bukhara, then they are good.
But unfortunately for me, I have had the privilege of eating at The Raj (in Kyalami, Johannesburg), very often. And haven't had anything here in Cape Town that comes close to their excellence!
Have you tried Vintage India, also pretty good, although not at that price...
