orienteering championships at klipdrif river

I took part in the South African Orienteering Championships at Klipdrif river near Grabouw last week friday. I haven't done any running since last year December, but I decided I wanted to see the new map and terrain, so the plan was to walk / run the course.

My fitness is obviously non-existent at the moment, but my navigation was ok, and I only made one mistake in the whole course, the rest was pretty much exactly how I planned it.

It was nice to see old orienteering friends from Johannesburg again, and to get out into the forest. Nice map, fairly interesting area and very nice views.
