renovations chaos has started

We have been planning to do renovations to our house since we moved in almost two years ago. It's been a long journey with lots of "big" ideas, that had to be scaled down due to costs, and other weird and wonderful considerations. We've spent months hunting for the right "stuff", changing our minds and hunting for other stuff, not finding what we want and starting all over again. Or forgetting some small detail, and having to rush around looking for something that will do the trick. It's been really crazy, but we've finally got just about all the material, and the actual work is finally starting.

These last few weeks we've also been packing all our things and moving them into storage, yesterday we moved the last stuff into storage and started moving some of the bare necessity's to our friends house higher up in Kommetjie, were we will be staying for the next few weeks while they break our house apart. The view here is awesome...

Right now I'm feeling seriously tired, and stiff, and am wishing it was all finished already.
