strange day

It’s been one of those days, the kind of days you only see in movies... I think.

I got up and went for my usual run this morning, getting back home all sweaty, smelly and sticky, to find our water not working. The whole neighbourhood was without water due to a burst water pipe.

So I got into my work clothes, sprayed lots of "anti pong" and drove out to our customers to deliver the Christmas corporate gifts, a once in a year occasion (Murphy), smelling... a little... offish. Finally had my morning shower at about 13:00, but lost most of the day, I guess...

Then this evening, I accidentally cooked a winner Indian curry, without much planning, and Ansie made a really good baklava. Combined with a fair amount of wine, we ended up listening to Led Zeppelin, whom I never, ever listen to, and eating way too much food.

Sometimes life feels a little strange?
