sunday exploring

So this morning we were planning to go to Stanford to have a look at some properties, but we never quite got there...

We started by driving through Grabouw, one of my favorite places ever since I did a cycle race there a few years ago. We turned off the N2 just past Houhoek towards Hermanus and stopped at a little restaurant called Salandra (I think), for a very nice wholesome lunch.

After the meal we drove through Kleinmond, Betty's Bay, Pringle Bay and Rooi Els, exploring the shops, roads and beaches at each town.

At Gordon's Bay we drove up to the water treatment plant and admired the view from up there for a while, you can see the whole bay from there.

It's still amazing to think we're here, and we're so close to all the things and places that we have always enjoyed so much, and that it's all less than an hours drive away!
