butterflies and strawberries

We spent the day with Ansie's dad today. After picking him up in Somerset-West at around 10:00 we drove the scenic R44 up past Stellenbosch and spent a few hours at Butterfly World. I forgot my camera at home so the photo's below are low quality photo's taken with my phone. It's an amazing place and I'd highly reckomend it for an outing.





Afterwards we stopped at the Jan Marais nature reserve in Jonkershoek / Stellenbosch for a picnic lunch. And then it was off to the Mooiberg Farm for some strawberry picking. The strawberries are huge and much better than any we've ever found (and that includes Woolworths)
