impangele mountain lodge

We spent a night at the awesome Impangele mountain lodge near De Doorns. We've driven through the area on the N1 a few times, but this is the first time we've spent some time here and explored the valley, and it is awesome! On the way to the lodge we stopped at Inspirati for a very nice lunch, in a very stunning venue.

The next day we did the "train" trip on the Hexpas Express. It was a really nice experience and I would very highly recommend it. The views on the way are fantastic, and the "train" stops in quite a few places, where the guides describe the various plants and the interesting history behind the railway line. We also had a nice picnic at the turn around spot.
