general update

It's been a long time since my last update. This year has started with a huge amount of work! In fact, the reason for the silence is that we've spent the last two months working on most weekends, so we haven't really been out at all.

I have however been to Lebanon forest a few times to help with the Western Cape Orienteering Champs which will be taking place this weekend (see photos). I've volunteered to help because I've decided to take a short break from running this year. Helping with the event allows me to still do some orienteering while putting out or collecting controls, but at a much slower pace.

We're also busy planning a holiday at the moment. The first "real" holiday in a while, but more about that in the next few weeks...
