trip to johannesburg

I've just returned from a very busy week long business trip to Johannesburg. In between the crazy schedule, I managed to see some family, catch up with some old friends, like Irma, who I found on Facebook, and haven't seen in 12 years!

I also managed to buy another large pile of books from Bookdealers in Rivonia, Bryanston and Rosebank. The best book shops in South Africa! And off course, buy a huge amount of curry at The Raj in Kyalami, the best Indian food ever! And some Baklava from the obscure little coffee shop in Lindin (Cafe Java?). All packed in tupperware and brought back home...

I must say I don't miss Johannesburg that much any more. It's still nice, but a lot of things have changed all over the place.
