orienteering at lebanon

I haven't done any running since the orienteering champs two weeks ago, due to the trip to Johannesburg, and some laziness... So my legs felt very tired today. My navigation was ok, a few small mistakes, and two big ones. Going from no 9 to 10 I decided to go safe and run around using the roads, I chose the wrong road though, but recovered fairly quickly. And then going from no 15 to 16 I headed for the road, but when I hit the road I had my map upside down, so promptly headed in the opposite direction. I knew it was wrong, it felt wrong, it didn't make sense, but I was a little stubborn, until I noticed a huge difference between the map and the terrain.

Lebanon really is a lovely area to race in, and the courses where very nice today.
