hiking at tokai / kleinplaas dam

We started the day by going for a short hike at Tokia forest, were we discovered a new little trail next to the one river.





Then it was off to the produce market for some food. We discovered a lady that sells fantastic Indian food, we'll definately be stocking up here more often in future.

Then we drove through to Zandvlei, to watch the dragon boat racing, which turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. The boats were much smaller that we expected, rather unimpressive actually...

On the way home we drove by Pine Haven, above Simon's Town, and decided to do another short hike, this time to the Kleinplaas Dam. Another great discovery here. It's a lovely dam, and the perfect place to relax with a picnic. Pity there isn't much shade though.
