Facts: I lost a lot of time at no 4 because I didn't see the control. I was at the right place, and almost always within 10 to 15 meters from the control, I just didn't see it. Only when I ran along the vegetation boundary from the road (west) did I see the control.
Then at no 8 it looked like the whole area was bulldozed, so the paths were very unclear. I arrived there with three other people, and in stead of orienteering, I was following, which wasted a lot of my time. Only when I started orienteering, did I notice that the control is on the rough vegetation boundary, I followed the vegetation upwards and found the control almost immediately.
The rest of the mistakes where small ones around the control locations.
Feelings: The course was good, and the terrain was nice and rough, but I didn't enjoy the race at all. By control no 2 I was really tired already (both head and body), everything in the race felt slow and difficult. Absolutely nothing felt right, I really didn't feel good at all.
