I'm not too happy with today's race. I lost 2 minutes on control no 2 (the runner that started 2 minutes after me had already caught me). I was within 10 meters of the control the whole time, but I couldn't recognise the symbol, so I was on the wrong side of the feature. I read the map symbols afterwards to discover that the feature was a woodpile, which is very easy to find. But who reads the map symbols while they're racing?
The rest of the race was fairly easy, but I'd already lost my motivation, so it was filled with small mistakes, mostly running past controls or stopping before reaching a control.
Control no 2 was behind the woodpile to the right off the boulder.
