at last a (small) breather

I blinked my eyes and it's already 20 days and 1 christmas later, these last few weeks have been crazy. At least some off the important things finally came together last week, after weeks (perhaps even months) of trying to organize them.

1. I managed to sell my car at last, months after getting a new car (which was delayed to start off with) and having to drive both cars down to cape town [money in]
2. We signed for a house in Kommetjie, 600m from the beach, but it needs lots and lots of work [money out]
3. After 6 months of waiting I finally got my new toy, the HTC TyTN, and I think it was worth the wait. It's like having a laptop in your pocket...

We haven't really been doing much on the social / exploration front these last few weeks, mostly house hunting, some lunches at various, mostly unimpressive, restaurants. And we've managed to catch up with some of our friends whom we haven't seen in ages.

Still slightly overloaded with work at the moment, but there might be a light there somewhere in the tunnel, perhaps I'll find it next year.
